Evra praises Hernandez

Patrice Evra says he gets the feeling Manchester United are on the brink of a goal every time Javier Hernandez steps on the pitch.

The young Mexican, nicknamed 'Chicharito', came off the bench at West Brom on Saturday to fire in a 75th-minute winner for United.

That goal marked Hernandez's fifth in the Premier League so far this season, despite having not started a game since November 13th.

And defender Evra has hailed the 22-year-old, insisting his presence brings an air of anticipation.

"Always when he comes on you feel like he will score," said Evra. "It is unbelievable."

Hernandez has found first-team action limited since his arrival at Old Trafford in the summer, with manager Sir Alex Ferguson favouring the more experienced Wayne Rooney and Dimitar Berbatov up front.

And Evra says the youngster is champing at the bit for more chances to show what he can do, adding: "I do think he wants to play more. When you play football you want to start every game."
