Steve Bruce: NO chance to get Welbeck from SAF at all

Sunderland boss Steve Bruce accepts there's no chance of a permanent deal for on-loan Manchester United striker Danny Welbeck.
Bruce knows Sir Alex Ferguson has big plans for Welbeck at Manchester United next season – and even a club record £16m-plus bid from Sunderland would cut no ice with his old Man U boss.
Bruce said: “He has had such an impact here that it has actually reduced our chances of signing him permanently.
“If he hadn’t done so well, it might have gone the other way!
“Before he got injured, arguably he was in better form than Benty or Asamoah Gyan. It’s not easy to tempt Manchester United, is it?”
