Patrice Evra have denied an alleged interview took place with the Spanish media at which the player discussed a move to Real Madrid.
Spanish media claimed on Monday that the French full-back had admitted in an exclusive interview that Real Madrid would be an attractive proposition should he leave Old Trafford.
But the 29-year-old has denied conducting the interview and insists he has no intention of leaving the current league leaders.
"You may have read rumours surrounding a possible summer exit for Patrice Evra, " read a statement onUnited's official website.
"Spanish website Intergoles.comclaimed the full-back discussed with them, in an exclusive interview, alleged interest from Real Madrid.
"Manchester United and the player would like to make it clear that this interview never took place and that Patrice is very happy at Manchester United."
