Section 11 has been created for you to tell them abt last EAD APPLICATION.
Keyword here is "application".
So in the Date I wrote the EAD application date and not the recept date.
This can be found on the last EAD receipt notice.
You are already sending them a copy of front and back of current EAD, where they can find on which date the EAD was approved etc.

If my priority date is retrogressed at the time of processing my EAD and AP, will USCIS keep the EAD and AP on hold? Or will they process EAD and AP and hold the I485?

One thing they had in common was that they need a letter from employer and also that they need the original receipt notice applied for the extension, I took them to a different DMV in Bergen county (one of the adjacent counties to mine) and had to speak to the supervisor who was a little confused and i told her that my cousin got his DL extended for 8 months while his visa extn was pending then looked up something okayed the extn...man it was terrible time running around...some of the DMV's were so bad the supervisors were out right rude did not even want to refer to their logs or whatever, well there is a provision for DL's to be extended for 8 months or 240 days while visa extn is pending, so try talking to superviosrs at DMV. Good luck...

In short, what I am trying to say is members are doing what they can in these tough times. Definitely they can and will do more if we have some directions or flexible campaigns.
we have what we have in terms of participations, donations etc ..why not have an easier campaign (flower/letter) which will get maximum participation and also show that something is happening.
as for media campaign ..sooner or later more confident speakers will come forward (who knows ..maybe many present members are not confident speakers or media shy)
The problem that we (including myself) have is work life is more hectic and tense now, since layoffs are happening in front of our eyes. and hence if we have campaigns like going to DC or to go for media interviews ..it is very difficult.

The idea was to make it easy for majority folks who work in Manhattan and surrounding areas. We were also concerned that the tri state folks travel long distances and work long hours during weekdays will need the weekends for themselves and a Friday night after work must be the best time.
But, yes, based on majority of the folks's response, we plan to do one more on a Saturday, but not in Flushing, location will be decided soon.

Yes, EAD and AP are issued and renewed as long as I-485 application is pending. It does NOT matter if the PD is retrogressed.

I am planning to file EAD/AP for my wife who is on H4 along with adjustment of status application. Will she continue on her H4 status till she gets EAD/AP?

1. By working on employment using EAD
2. The primary applicant loses H1-B status for ANY reason
