Ok now back to the basics
I have noticed that a lot of stocks that are worthless are pumped and picked by phony sites ....You might even be recieving spam emails asking you to watch certain trades.
Put them on a separate watch list since most of them usually spike for a bit and settle down ...What a DT does intelligently is to watch the spike and "Short" it when it starts sliding back again
This needs a lot of patience to learn and experience...so I suggest you not to trade in them for now and watch the plays.
Day Trading is like riding a bicycle , I believe , When you dont know how to ride it , even a straight road looks like a uphill task but as you learn and have more control over yourself....You start riding and with experience also know how to avoid the pot holes but most importantly how to get out and balance your self if you ever do land on it.
And then there are the ones who do Stunt tricks like Wheelies and back riding .......Thats what attracts novice to riding but you cant do that the first day Can You ???

Most of us are getting a one year EAD. Hope IV can act on this at least for EB3, as EB2 don't really care about the duration of the EAD anymore.

I would again emphasize on my previous post. One step at a time, one swift ruling for all waiting for long time in queue.
Remember, this is not 0-sum game or targeting a small group. In a queue you are closer to the target as people in front of you move.
Do get with people around you who are having same issues, organize local groups, communicate with your local authorities & media and make it an issue.

You still do need your employer to give you one letter about your future employment. Other than that, you might have everything you need to file your 485 and employer's involvement is minimal.
If your 140 has not yet been filed, then you definitely need your employer's involvement and in that case, firing your lawyer hired by your employer might actually cause more delay because you will have to do a lot of co-ordination on your own with employer and your new lawyer. Getting 140 filed without lawyer is probably very tough. So self-filing of 485 makes sense mostly for those who have approved 140.
Although I used my lawyer to file my I-485 ( My date was current in June and I submitted all my papers to my lawyer on May 20th and actually it was filed on 27th June), I also prepared I-485/ead application myself over the weekend and when I compare this application with lawyer's, mine was more accurate because lawyer mad small mistake in my address.
Anybody who follow this thread can prepare the application by him/herself.

This has been the regular way... CPO e-mail first and then an e-mail saying "... we mailed you a notice that we had registered this customer's new permanent resident status."
I got my Card Production ordered email yesterday at 9:00 PM and now at 7:20 AM I get mail saying I have been registered at permenent resident. So looks like the department that registers GC is slower than the guys who print the actual card. Has any one else seen this kind of reverse order of mails?

Hey GCN007, congratulations to you. We are very happy that folks with PD<01/08/05 are getting their long-awaited approvals - India or not, IV members or not. Clearly the wait is frustrating and the relief is boundless and we are happy for those who have found that relief.
But, are extreme metaphors really necessary? I don't think anyone here will be willing to chop off body parts for green cards! :) And I don't think it will give anyone receiving them as much relief/happiness.

when i was in michigan, i drove to indian consulate in chicago, they gave me PIO card for my daughter in half hour time. can you believe it? ofcourse paid extra fees for this. they talk polite too.

Application form is asking for address to be printed and other address. I am planning to keep my India address (my place) on my passport. I use my passport as a address proof in Inida. It means i need to fill it in address to be printed coulum.
What is the other address. Are they going to print this in passport as well. If they are going to print this in passport, can i give my India address here as well? Is it mandatory to give one US address (other address)? Please help me. I am trying to renew the passport and would like to keep my existing India address.
