Gary Neville hopes former teammates Paul Scholes and Ryan Giggs play on next season.
Like many other United fans, he is keen for the veteran duo to keep entertaining for as long as possible.
"I speak to Ryan and Paul all the time," Neville told the Daily Star Sunday. "I trust them and we've become incredibly close.
"And I am the one who keeps begging them to go for at least one more year. They are still two of the best players around.
"They are both key men for the team and are on a different level to anybody else in the game."
