The father of Standard Liege star Axel Witsel has revealed the interest of Manchester United.
Thierry Witsel admits several European heavyweights are tracking his son ahead of the summer market.
"I am aware of the interests of Fiorentina by reading the newspapers, but for me I have not been contacted by anyone. Direct contact between the clubs? Honestly I cannot say," said Witsel Snr.
"The interest of AC Milan and Manchester United? The exact same answer.
"There are many scouts in Liege every time he plays for Standard, but I cannot tell you exactly which clubs they are and they may not necessarily be there to see only Axel."
