Danny Welbeck scores a brace for Sunderland in their 2-2 draw with Everton

On-loan Manchester United man Danny Welbeck looks to be on his way to becoming one of England's brightest talents, scoring a brace for Sunderland in their 2-2 draw with Everton.

Welbeck has now scored three times for his adopted side, following the third in Sunderland's memorable 3-0 win over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge last week.

The 19-year-old mostly shares the role as one of the team's two strikers with both Darren Bent and Gyan Asamoah , but he has also played on the left wing.

Welbeck has played a major part this season, with Both Bent and Gyan suffering minor knocks, and looks certain to continue getting opportunities after his impressive displays.

With Gyan’s recent injury, Welbeck played alongside Bent, who was brought back into the side to face Everton after his hamstring injury.

Steve Bruce has a tough decision to make when all three forwards are fit.
Welbeck is on-loan at Sunderland until the end of the season, and with performances like this, Manchester United might not be so willing to loan him out again.
