Mallika Sherawat Emran in Murder Seque

If everything goes well, the hot Mallika Sherawat who was seen in an ultra daring character in “Murder” would feature in its sequel as well. A spokesman of Bhatt’s team revealed the news and said that the director will soon announce the making of “Murder 2”, Mallika may continue in the lead role. The actress was seen on and around Mahesh Bhatt’s office, as the actress is keen on signing the film, and so is in talks with Bhatt’s. The Bhatt’s are tight-lipped about it, and are looking for the right time.

With film “Murder”, Mallika Sherawat, first tasted the fruit of success and also became popular for her bold onscreen attitude. Though the actress made her debut with “Khwaish”, but it
was the film “Murder”, which gave her career a new turn. These days Mallika is seen busy in the promo of her upcoming film “Hisses”, which is based on the legend of ‘Nag’. The film is set to release on 22nd October, where Mallika is playing the role of a naagin. She was spotted on the stage of “Sa Re Ga Ma” and also on “Entertainment Ke Lye Kuch Bhi Karenga”. News is there that the actress will appear in the daily TV soap, “Na Aana.....Mere Lado” in Colors.

According to tabloids Emraan Hashmi, the lead actor in the prequel of “Murder”, is not in good terms with Mallika these days. Emrann was upset with the actress as Mallika said that it was she who was solely responsible for the success of the film. Emraan said that there is no issue whoever the producer and director signs. If Mallika suits the role, it’s fine for Emraan. He will not lay his opinion on casting in the sequel. Hope we get to see Mallika and Emraan again in “Murder 2” and with it their onscreen chemistry after six years.

According to sources, Mahesh Bhatt is ongoing discussion with Mallika for the last few days. Conversations are going on as Mallika suits to be a strong contender for the role. When everything will be fixed, they will make the final call. Also there is news that the Bhatt’s team is looking for a new face to cast in “Murder 2”. So, whether is it the hot Mallika who will cast in the film or a new comer is to be signed? Wait for the final call of Bhatt’s to get the answers.

Mallika Sherawat worship At Snake temple -Hisss Movie success

Mallika Sherawat who plays a snake woman in her upcoming film Hisss, offered prayers at the famous Sree Nagaraja temple at Mannarasala in Alappuzha district, in Kerala, seeking divine blessings for the success of the upcoming movie.

"I have come here to give my respects to the snake god. It's after 24 years that a film on naag-naagin is coming up, so I prayed that the film does well," said Ms Sherawat.

The Bollywood actress reached here this morning from Mumbai and drove straight to the temple, the producer of the movie Govind Menon accompanied her to the temple. The Sree Nagaraja temple at Mannarasala was also one of the principal locations of the multi-lingual film.

Menon said that 'Hisss' produced under the banner of Split Image Pictures at a cost of Rs 30 crores, would be released worldwide in 2,200 screens on October 22. In India, the English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu versions of the film would be released on that day, while the Malayalam version would be released in Kerala on October 29.

Hisss is directed by Jennifer Lynch, and Mallika plays a half-woman, half-snake in the film. The film also stars Divya Dutta and Irrfan Khan.

Mallika Sherawat Promotes Hiss in Na Aana Ishe Desh lado

film ‘Hisss’ on popular soap on Colors-‘Na Aana Iss Desh Laado’.

Mallika shot her promotional for ‘Laado’ on Monday and also wished Harish Verma, who plays ‘Avtar’, on his birthday.

Incidentally, Harish’s birthday coincides with Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan’s birthday.

Though dead tired of shooting with Bollywood’s new ‘nagin’ (Mallika), the team of ‘Laado’ threw a surprise party for Harish on the sets at 10pm last night.

“I am very happy that I celebrated my birthday with everyone. I am also lucky that I share my birthday with Big B,” said Harish.

Mallika won the 2008 Renaissance Artist Award at the 16th Annual Diversity Awards which were held at California. Mallika has also received the recognition for Honorary Citizen of Los Angeles for her career achievements and charitable efforts made by her.
