Sir Alex Ferguson may send Danny Welbeck away on-loan again next season.
The People says England striker Welbeck spent last season on loan at Sunderland and impressed.
Ferguson is still weighing up the best options for the 20-year-old having initially told him to report back to Old Trafford and prepare to go on the club’s summer tour to America.
But having handed Michael Owen another one-year deal, Welbeck’s situation is under review – and Sunderland boss Steve Bruce hopes he can grab him again on a long-term loan.
