Norwich challenge Portsmouth for defender De Laet

Defender Ritchie de Laet is set to move this summer.
The Belgium international is part of a clearout planned by Sir Alex.
The Manchester Evening News says Portsmouth hope to make De Laet a permanent signing after a successful loan spell at Fratton Park, with manager Steve Cotterill prepared to pay around £2m.
But Premier League newcomers Norwich are also interested in the Belgian defender, who has a year left on his United contract.
