Borussia Monchengladbach snap up Joshua King on season-long loan

Borussia Monchengladbach sporting director Max Eberl has revealed that Joshua King is set to join the club on a one-year loan deal from Manchester United.

The 19-year-old Norwegian, who can play in attack as well as in midfield, had a three-month spell with Championship side Preston last season, but now is moving to the Bundesliga to continue his development.

Eberl told Monchengladbach's official website: "We have an agreement with Manchester United for a loan of one year. United presented very extensive contract work because they care intensely about their players and would like to stay in constant contact with us.

"The contracts must be translated and checked, that's now going back and forth between the lawyers of the two clubs. Our goal is to have him in Bad Worishofen next Monday."
