Micah Richard went speechless for 5 seconds after Rooney's goal

Micah Richards was stunned into silence by the Wayne Rooney overhead scorcher which sealed Manchester United's 2-1 derby win.

The City defender, closest to the England striker as he went airborne, said: "To be honest, when he was up there I was thinking 'What's he doing?' Then when the ball went in the net, I was speechless for about five seconds.

"It was an incredible goal. That's what he can produce and why United did everything to keep him."
