Sir Alex sees Pep Guardiola as his ideal successor. What about Jose Mourinho?

Manchester United boss Sir Alex sees Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola as his ideal successor.
El Mundo Deportivo says United have already made contact with Guardiola's agent, Jose Maria Orobitg, about the prospect of the Spaniard moving to Old Trafford.
Guardiola is only on a contract to the end of this season with Barca and has refused to consider opening talks over a new deal with the board.
Ferguson regards Guardiola highly and believes his management of Barca's big names, along with his focus on bringing on talent through the youth system, makes the Spaniard the ideal candidate to succeed him.
The United manager has a long-standing respect for Guardiola, having attempted to sign him when he chose to leave Barca as a player.
For the moment, United are keeping the communication channels open with Orobitg as Ferguson weighs up his future.
