Ferguson not ready to write-off Obertan

Sir Alex is not ready to write off Gabriel Obertan.
The People says he has struggled to fit in at Man Utd since his arrival in 2009 and made just three league starts last season.
Former Red Devils’ favourite Laurent Blanc said he was surprised when Obertan moved to Old Trafford from Bordeaux and the France legend questioned whether the winger was capable of performing at the highest level.
Ferguson is reluctant to sell the 22-year-old, but is open to a loan move before making a final decision on his future.

Obertan in dark over Lille loan rumours

Gabriel Obertan is unaware of interest from Lille.
Obertan has struggled to make an impact at United since arriving from Bordeaux in the summer of 2009.
The 22-year-old admits he is in the dark over the links with Lille and is unsure where his future lies
"I will not be loaned to Lille, for now," Obertan told France Football. "I should know if Manchester wants to loan me and if they want to [loan me] to Lille.
"For now, I do not know."

Man Utd prepare swap offer for Southampton winger Oxlade-Chamberlain

Sir Alex Ferguson is eyeing a swap bid for Southampton superkid Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
The Daily Star says Ferguson could also be in with a chance of hijacking Arsenal’s bid for Oxlade-Chamberlain.
The Gunners are favourites to sign the teenager, who made 41 appearances for Saints last season, scoring 10 goals.
But Fergie is ready to step up his interest even though they are on the verge of signing Ashley Young from Aston Villa.
Saints manager Nigel Adkins is looking to sign at least three players with Premier League experience this summer as the club tries to emulate Norwich’s achievements of successive promotions from League One to the top flight.
So he is eager to try to negotiate a player or players-plus-cash deal for Chamberlain, who turns 18 in August.
If Ferguson steps up his interest he could offer French winger Gabriel Obertan, 22, or out-of-favour defender Wes Brown, also a Sunderland target, as part of the deal.
Obertan has failed to make an impact at United since his £3m move from Bordeaux in 2009.
Brown, 31, made only four league starts last season and has no future at Old Trafford.

Bad news>>Man Utd ready to listen to offers for Obertan

Manchester United are expected to listen to offers for winger Gabriel Obertan.
The Frenchman has struggled at Premier League when handed a rare chance.

But after two years it doesn’t appear to have paid off for United or the player and he could be on his way.

Obertan accepts he has long way to go at Man Utd

Gabriel Obertan accepts he has a long way to go to being a Manchester United first teamer.
The French attacker cites both Ryan Giggs and Nani as perfect examples of what being a winger is all about and he is aiming to follow their lead.
"I hope to become a real Manchester United player but the most important thing is to keep working hard," he told reporters on Tuesday.
"I try to learn from players like Giggsy and Nani. Playing alongside players like them is very important.
"It may take a while, but I'm going to keep working hard. I'm focused on doing my best for the club and then we'll see.
"Hopefully I'll get some time on the pitch to show what I can do."

Ferguson ready to sell Bebe, Obertan

Sir Alex Ferguson is ready to sell Bebe and Gabriel Obertan.
The Daily Star says Ferguson is set to wield the axe on Manchester United flops Bebe and Obertan.
Fergie was left fuming with the duo in the wake of United’s woeful FA Cup win over non-league Crawley at Old Trafford.
United avoided the biggest shock in their history to scrape through first half header. But the result left Fergie seething and he tore into his stars after the final whistle.
Now he looks set to give Bebe and Obertan the boot at the end of the season after deciding they are not fit to wear the United shirt.

Evra vowed to push Obertan into becoming a star!

Patrice Evra has vowed to push Gabriel Obertan into becoming a Manchester United star.

Evra was delighted with the way fellow Frenchman Obertan, 21, finally announced himself to the United faithful with a spectacular goal in Tuesday's 3-0 win away to Bursaspor.

The moment was a long time coming following Obertan's £3million move from Bordeaux last July.

Injuries have plagued him since and the odd run-out suggested nothing of what came from his right foot on Tuesday.

Evra said: "It was his best performance and I'm really pleased with him as he's working hard.

"I keep talking with him every day and tell him to take his chance.

"He showed his potential at Bursaspor but now the most difficult part is coming.
"I keep telling him 'It's not easy at United but you are still young and have a lot of quality'.

"He is like my younger brother and that's why I hope he doesn't get too sleepy because now is the time to show he has the potential to play for Manchester United."
