Graham Poll expects Man Utd striker Rooney to escape action over elbow incident

Former ref Graham Poll believes Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney will be let off over his elbowing incident against Wigan Athletic's James McCarthy.
In his column for the Daily Mail: "If the Football Association charge Wayne Rooney, they will be going against previous recent cases and will possibly justify Sir Alex Ferguson’s claim that Manchester United are harshly treated because of their profile.
"Once Mark Clattenburg gave Wigan a free-kick — surely after some advice from his assistant referee, hence the delay in blowing his whistle —there was no possibility he could say that none of the officials saw the challenge, and that is what’s required for video evidence to be used.
"Rooney did not trip, pull or push James McCarthy, yet a free-kick was awarded — so it must have been awarded for use of the arm. As Rooney was not even cautioned, this incident will not be mentioned by Clattenburg in his report."

Kirsten Dunst
Kirsten Dunst sexy poseL.A.Confidential (1997)-Everything is suspect...everyone is for sale...and nothing is what it seems-
You may wonder why this guy is bringing us a more than decade old movie. But if you watch if you'll not say any of these. Its such a wonderful and a typical 90's movie. The story is based around a shooting at an all night diner is investigated by three LA policemen in their own unique ways
Director: Curtis Hanson
Writers: James Ellroy (novel), Brian Helgeland (screenplay)
Stars: Kevin Spacey, Russell Crowe and Guy Pearce, Kim Basinger
Needless to say this is one of another great acts by Russel Crowe. This is in his younger days and he perfectly illustrates the muscle of LAPD who goes on any distance to win justice for the public. We can't forget the pretty Kim Basinger as Lynn Bracken to whom Crowe falls in love. The story in brief is like this...
1950's Los Angeles is the seedy backdrop for this intricate noir-ish tale of police corruption and Hollywood sleaze. Three very different cops are all after the truth, each in their own style:
Ed Exley, the golden boy of the police force, willing to do almost anything to get ahead, except sell out; Bud White, ready to break the rules to seek justice, but barely able to keep his raging violence under control; and Jack Vincennes, always looking for celebrity and a quick buck until his conscience drives him to join Exley and White down the one-way path to find the truth behind the dark world of L.A. crime.
So its not another blood shedding, 'bullets travelling near the ear' type of a movie with nude scenes and brutal violence (as in nowadays). But a decent thriller which has got 8.4/10 in IMDB ratings at the end of the day. SO its upto you to watch and enjoy the fascinating thriller

Rooney: Asking for transfer was wrong
Wayne Rooney says he feels back to his best.
Rooney's form has been inconsistent this season.
But he said: “This is usually the time of year when we really go for it. We’ve got the experience to really kick on and put pressure on the other teams.
“I feel really good, personally. I have to say it’s been a difficult season for me – probably the hardest I’ve ever had. That week when I asked for a transfer was something I wouldn’t want to go through ever again, but I feel I made the right decision to stay because this club is always going to be challenging for trophies.
“I picked up a few niggles earlier in the season as well and missed a few games, so I didn’t really feel like I was playing a part. But the good thing is that I feel fresh now when most players are injured or feeling jaded.”He added: “We don’t talk about winning the Treble or the Double – or even just one trophy. The thinking here is that you must win the next match and, once you’ve done that, you think about winning the next one.
“We want the title back because it was hard losing it to Chelsea. We can make it really hard for them by beating them, but they will be thinking the same thing about us because those two games will have a big say on where the title goes.”

Fan backing his club with his HUGE tattoo! Really huge!
Manchester United fan John Retter is backing his Old Trafford idols all the way with this huge tattoo.
Trucker John, 51, paid nearly £1,000 to have the Red Devils' crest etched.
The work took 16 hours and he spent the time reading boss Sir Alex Ferguson's biography to take his mind off the pain.
But John, who never misses a game on TV, insists it was worth the discomfort to have a tattoo that covers most of his back.
He said: "It's a brilliant badge with so much history. I'm proud to wear it."
Referring to the club's famously rivalry with Liverpool, John, of Paignton, Devon, added: "As soon as the sun's out, I'll be flaunting it on the beach - although I'll probably get chased by a load of Scousers."
His partner Liz Brady, 44, said: "I think it looks great."
Tattooist Tony Gallon said: "It's the biggest football badge I've ever had to do."
Avril Lavigne - Goodbye Lullaby (Album)
Avril Ramona Lavigne (pronounced /ˈævrɨl ləˈviːn/; born 27 September 1984) is a Canadian singer-songwriter, fashion designer, actress, and philanthropist. She was born in Belleville, Ontario, but spent the majority of her youth in the small town of Napanee. By the age of 15, she had appeared on stage with Shania Twain; by 16, she had signed a two-album recording contract with Arista (now RCA Records) worth more than $2 million. When she was 17 years old, Lavigne broke onto the music scene with her debut album, Let Go, released in 2002.Lavigne branched out from recording music, pursuing careers in feature film acting and designing clothes and perfumes. She voiced a character in the animated film, Over the Hedge, in 2006. That same year, she made her on-screen feature film debut in Fast Food Nation. In 2008, Lavigne introduced her clothing line, Abbey Dawn, and in 2009, she released her first perfume, Black Star, which was followed by her second perfume, Forbidden Rose, in 2010. In July 2006, Lavigne married her boyfriend of two years, Deryck Whibley, lead singer and guitarist for Sum 41. The marriage lasted a little over three years, and in October 2009, Lavigne filed for divorce. Whibley and Lavigne continued to work together, with Whibley producing her upcoming fourth album, as well as Lavigne's single, "Alice", written for Tim Burton's film Alice in Wonderland.Themes in Lavigne's music include messages of self-empowerment from a female or adolescent point of view. Lavigne believes her "songs are about being yourself no matter what and going after your dreams even if your dreams are crazy and even if people tell you they're never going to come true." On her debut album, Let Go, Lavigne preferred the less mainstream songs, such as "Losing Grip", instead of her more radio-friendly singles, such as "Complicated", saying that "the songs I did with the Matrix... were good for my first record, but I don't want to be that pop anymore." Lavigne's second album, Under My Skin, had more personal themes underlying each song. Lavigne explained, "I've gone through so much, so that's what I talk about.... Like boys, like dating or relationships". In contrast, her third album, The Best Damn Thing, was not very personal to her. "Some of the songs I wrote didn't even mean that much to me. It's not like some personal thing I'm going through." Her objective in writing the album was simply to "make it fun". Goodbye Lullaby, Lavigne's fourth album, is expected to be much more personal than her earlier records, with Lavigne describing the album as "more stripped down, deeper. All the songs are very emotional".The album's and lead single's release dates have been pushed back several times. The album was originally scheduled for release on 17 November 2009. Later, in January 2010, Lavigne stated that the album cover had been photographed and the first single would be released in April, followed by the album in June. In May, Lavigne said that she considered the album too serious and "mellow" and would return to the studio to balance the album out. "With an album, I don't want to rush it out.... I have a very serious record, so I think I need to put a couple upbeat, fun songs on it."In August 2010, Lavigne returned to Henson Recording Studios with producer Alex Da Kid. During these sessions, Lavigne had strep throat, and the people involved were required to wear surgical masks. Despite her doctor's warning, Lavigne recorded vocals. "I wasn't able to sing for the last forty-eight hours because I could do permanent damage to the vocal cords. My doctor told me not to, but I sang today." She revealed that she had been "trying new stuff" and that she was "exploring." Lavigne also added that she had enough material for two records.[Lavigne premiered the lead single, "What the Hell", on Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve on 31 December during a pre-taped segment along with a performance of "Girlfriend". "["What the Hell" is] a really fun, upbeat party song, so it worked out really well to play it for the first time on 'New Year's Rockin' Eve." The following day, "What the Hell" was available as a free download for 48 hours from Lavigne's official Facebook page. The video for the single was released in January 2011. Goodbye Lullaby is scheduled to be released on 8 March. Album's International Promotion was started with Lavigne's Japanese tour from 23rd january where she performed "What The Hell" On NHK.

Carroll: Man Utd boss Ferguson always good with me
Roy Carroll says Man Utd boss Sir Alex was always good to him.
The Northern Ireland goalkeeper is back in England after leaving Denmark's Odense.
He won a Premier League medal in 2003 and an FA Cup medal 12 months later and admitted to The Sun: "Sir Alex brought me on against Millwall with five minutes to go because he said I'd done well in the semi-final.
"He actually offered me a new four-year contract in 2005 but would not guarantee first-team football.
"Yet he was always fantastic with me and, even when I left, he always said if I ever needed anything I should ring."
Marseille Stephane Mbia: The club of my heart, it's Manchester United!

Olympique Marseille midfielder Stephane Mbia has again confessed an ambition to play for Manchester United.
The Cameroon international is tied to l'OM until 2014.
"I do not look at Manchester United in the same way as other teams. They are a dream. A dream that has become feasible. More than ever, thanks to my performance and that of my team. I want to go as high as possible," said Mbia.
"Real Madrid is a very good team too. But the club of my heart, my dreams, it's Manchester. I feel good in Marseille but we must be ambitious."
Ferguson: We have not discussed Lloris, Valbuena

Sir Alex Ferguson says it's too soon to talk up his summer transfer plans.
Olympique Lyon goalkeeper Hugo Lloris and Marseille playmaker Mathieu Valbuena have both been linked with United.
But yesterday, Ferguson told French reporters: "I've heard these rumours in England as in France.
"But this is just speculation, we have not lifted a finger in this direction (transfer market)."

Lindsay Lohan’s surveillance video likely to work against her
As of now, it is being reported that the video shows a friend of Lindsay’s talking to the store clerk and possibly distracting that person while she commits the crime, states RadarOnline.com. Lindsay reportedly puts her necklace back on and never removes the store’s necklace.
This is allegedly known as “distraction theft” and the video is rumored to be a pretty strong piece of evidence against the actress. Now that Lindsay’s team has reportedly received the video, she may be pleading in the case instead of taking her chances with a trial.
Do you think Lindsay Lohan knowingly stole the necklace?
