Manchester United are being linked with Athletic Bilbao striker Fernando Llorente.
The Spain international is regarded as the next big thing in Spain and has usurped Chelsea star Fernando Torres in Vicente del Bosque's plans.
Local radio Cadena Ser says United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is a big fan of Llorente and has asked intermediaries for more information about the forward.
Llorente's current contract carries a £30 million buyout clause and Bilbao will not accept a penny less.
