Ferguson: We have definitely missed Hargreaves

Sir Alex Ferguson admits they've missed Owen Hargreaves.
The England midfielder returned to training on Monday after intensive rehab in Germany on a damaged hamstring.
Hargreaves is off contract in June and Ferguson said: “Yeah, we have missed him. He’s a very good player but he’s been missing so long.
“He’s been a loss but there’s nothing you can do about it. Up until the last couple of weeks we haven’t really needed him. We’ve got a big strong squad with plenty of midfield players like Carrick, Anderson, Gibson, Scholes, Fletcher, Giggs who can play in there.
“We’ve had plenty of options in the middle of the park but we’ve coped OK. Antonio Valencia’s been out for most of the season but Nani has progressed because of it. He’s been terrific.
“Sometimes that happens. You lose a player and someone else steps up.’’
