Nani admits heeding advice from United manager Sir Alex about tracking back has made him a more dangerous player.
The Portuguese has learned as well that being successful with United is not all about camera-grabbing attacking play.
He revealed: "Sir Alex explained to me the importance of defending well and said I would end up being more dangerous in attack as a result. It is the truth."
