Jonny Evans to be ship out from Man Utd......on loan in January

Jonny Evans will be sent out on loan in a bid to rebuild his confidence after a loss of form that peaked in Manchester United's 4-0 humiliation against West Ham United in the League Cup quarter-final.

Sir Alex Ferguson is concerned by Evans' loss of form and wants his defender to build his confidence with playing time elsewhere, according to The Sun.

United have shipped 15 goals in the nine league games in which the defender has appeared this season, and after receiving the infamous 'hairdryer' treatment from Ferguson in the League Cup defeat, Evans has admitted he has not performed well.

"This is probably the biggest challenge I have had.

"It is the first time I have been taken out of the team because of my performances."

Evans spent two spells on loan at Sunderland earlier in his career, when former United captain Roy Keane was managing the Black Cats. Prior to that he was also loaned to United's Belgian feeder club, Royal Antwerp, during the 2006-07 season.
