Manchester United star Park Ji Sung smashed his £70,000 Porsche through a fence and on to a training field - a day before the Reds' own embarrassing crash ON the pitch (Losing 0-1 to Leeds United)
Manager Sir Alex Ferguson and stars including Wayne Rooney and Dimitar Berbatov watched aghast as South Korean international Park drove through a steel barrier in his Cayenne 4x4 Turbo.
He lost control in the icy car park at the club's Carrington training HQ on Saturday morning and skidded through a perimeter fence.
Park, who escaped injury, faces a bill from the club to fix the fence - on top of the repairs to the badly damaged wing of his luxury car.
A United source revealed: "Parky had a lucky escape. The pitches were frozen and some players were coming out of the dressing rooms for a session on the artificial turf.
"He wasn't going fast, but he hit a bad patch of snow and ice and crashed through the cage around a pitch.
"He was pretty shaken. All the lads were quick to make sure he was OK. It's just as well nobody was using that pitch at the time."
