Atletico Madrid have put a hefty £18million price tag on promising goalkeeper David De Gea.
The 20-year old is still being tracked by Manchester United but Sir Alex will now have to pay at least that figure if he wants to bring him as Edwin van der Sar’s replacement.
Los Rojiblancos president Enrique Cerezo said there had not yet been an official enquiry about De Gea but said if one came, he would certainly be telling United that he will not come cheap.
"No-one has asked me about him (De Gea) this morning," said Cerezo.
"Ask Manchester about it, but 18million doesn't seem much to me."
